وظيفة الجهاز هو تنبية سائق السيارة عند النعاس ينبة سائق السيارة اذا ما غلبه النعاس فمالت رأسه الي الامام فيصدر صفارة عالية متقطعة يتكون من قطعتين بينهما سلك رفيع - الاولي تركب خلف الاذن والثانية بجانب السائق جزء الجهاز المحدث للصفارة يمكن ان يعمل وحده للحماية الشخصية واستدعاء النجدة حيث يورد معه سلك خاص اذا ما نزع يصدر صوت الصفارة وبنفس الطريقة يمكن استخدامه لطرد الحيوانات الضالة حيث لا تتحمل تلك الحيوانات صوت الصفارة الثاقب ويمكن استخدامه في المنازل او الفنادق لتأمين الباب والشباك بان يثبت جزء في ضلفة والاخر في الضلفة الاخري فاذا فتح الباب يصدر صفارة انذار يعمل ببطارية 9 فولت
